Cloud Product Owner – Johannesburg or Pretoria (Hybrid)
Contract: 6–12 months (project dependent)
Hybrid: 3 days onsite | 2 days remote
Our client is seeking an experienced Cloud Product Owner to lead the vision, roadmap, and delivery of their enterprise Cloud Platform, enabling secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions.
Minimum Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Product Owner
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure (AWS advantageous)
- Strong understanding of Platform Engineering and Cloud Operations
- Experience with DevOps and Agile delivery methodologies
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and platform services
- Experience with FinOps and cloud cost optimisation
- Product roadmap and backlog management experience
- Strong stakeholder management and value realisation skills
- Financial Services experience advantageous
- SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager certification preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and manage the Cloud Platform vision and roadmap
- Own and prioritize the product backlog
- Collaborate with Cloud Engineering, Architecture, Security, and Infrastructure teams
- Drive cloud platform adoption and continuous improvement
- Balance reliability, security, performance, and cost optimisation
- Manage stakeholder engagement and product governance
